Join us in the heart of the North Fork Valley in Paonia for a long weekend packed with good food, friends, mountain views, and small-town fun. We’re partnering with Paonia Food Club to make this weekend extra special.

Where We'll Travel:
Nestled in the heart of Colorado’s North Fork Valley, Paonia is the kind of small town that feels like stepping into a postcard. Surrounded by orchards, vineyards, and sweeping mountain views, Paonia blends laid-back charm with a creative, community-driven spirit.
Known for its farm-to-table culture, local wineries, and stunning access to the outdoors, this Western Slope gem offers everything from fresh-picked peaches to scenic drives along West Elk Loop Scenic Byway. Stroll down Grand Avenue and you’ll find colorful storefronts, friendly faces, and that unmistakable small-town warmth that makes visitors feel like locals.
With the majestic West Elk Mountains as a backdrop and the North Fork of the Gunnison River winding nearby, Paonia is where rustic meets vibrant — making it the perfect setting for our Pig Out and Parade in Paonia.

Our Schedule:
Thursday – Arrive & Get Settled
Roll into Paonia, check into your room, and take a deep breath of that fresh mountain air.
Dinner will be available that evening — casual, easy, and a perfect chance to reconnect and kick off the weekend together.
Friday – Welcome Brunch & Explore
Morning:
Welcome Brunch to get everyone fueled up and officially start the festivities.
Afternoon:
Free time to explore downtown Paonia — stroll Grand Avenue, check out local shops, grab coffee, maybe even take a scenic drive.
Evening:
Dinner together followed by games, laughs, and plenty of storytelling.
Saturday – Parade & Pig Out Street Party
The big day is here!
Morning:
We’ll kick things off with a parade down Main Street — bring your festive spirit and be ready to celebrate small-town style.
Afternoon:
Pig Roast & Summer BBQ Street Party!
Slow-roasted pork, classic summer sides, music, and plenty of time to hang out and soak it all in.
Evening:
Keep the party going with good company and relaxed evening fun.
Sunday – River Day
We’ll spend the day enjoying the nearby river — relaxing and hanging out by the water.
Evening:
Dinner together followed by games and laid-back fun.
Monday – Explore the Area
Take the day to explore more of what makes this area special — orchards, wineries, mountain views, or a scenic drive along the West Elk Loop Scenic Byway with the beautiful West Elk Mountains as your backdrop.
Evening:
One last dinner and game night to wrap up an unforgettable trip.
Tuesday – Departure
Breakfast, hugs, and safe travels home — until next time!

For our Pig Out & Parade in Paonia weekend, all guests will be staying together at the Rocky Mountain Inn, right in the heart of downtown Paonia. It’s just a short walk from the parade route, shops, and restaurants — perfect for popping in and out throughout the weekend.
The Inn offers a mix of cozy rooms and apartment-style suites, so everyone will have a comfortable spot to relax after a day of parades, BBQ, river fun, and games. Enjoy the courtyard, unwind with a coffee, or just hang out with fellow guests — this is your home base for the weekend, and it’s all ready for you!
Being all together makes it easy to share meals, plan activities, and soak in the small-town charm of Paonia as a group.

This is a fun-filled getaway featuring a parade, pig roast, river day, games, and mountain views in small-town Colorado charm. Unforgettable food, fun, and community in the heart of the North Fork Valley. We have different packages available, depending if you want to lodge with us and if you’re bringing the kids.
